Overview

These add-ons extend different parts of the Anki workflow: writing cards, managing media, understanding a collection, and turning existing notes into flashcards.

Add-ons

• Symbols adds a configurable symbol picker to the editor, with favourites and a last-used symbol. Install from AnkiWeb.
• Media Manager helps find and reuse images, replace or rename them across notes, and clean up unused or duplicate files. Install from AnkiWeb.
• Syllabus explores collection statistics by deck and tag, with configurable columns, links to matching cards, and CSV export. Install from AnkiWeb.

Earlier work

• Ankidown imports existing notes into Anki using templates, with a preview to review and edit cards before adding them to a collection.
• Echelon adds hierarchical tags and context-aware renaming to Anki 2.1. It is no longer supported; its repository points to alternatives.
